This role involves acting as the single point of contact for issues or escalations, executing change requests, and conducting project close activities to confirm deliverables. The ideal candidate will organize and facilitate project and scrum events, coach team members on roles and responsibilities, and utilize project management tools to ensure accuracy and success throughout the project lifecycle.This position is required to report to our Somerset, NJ office on a hybrid structure.\nRole Description\nLead project engagements to achieve the scope as described in Statements of Work.\n\nConduct project kick-offs and create project schedules to ensure timely and budgeted execution.\n\nAssemble and coordinate the project team, establishing roles and responsibilities.\n\nCommunicate customer status updates, including action items, issues, risks, and develop mitigation plans.\n\nExecute change requests to project scope, schedule, and/or cost as needed.\n\nAct as the single point of contact for any issues or escalations throughout the project.\n\nConduct project close activities to confirm deliverables were achieved in collaboration with the program manager.\n\nCoach and mentor all parties on their roles and responsibilities in all project related activities.\n\nManage and ensure accuracy for projects using project management tools such as Asana and AirTable.\n\nBehaviors and Competencies\nAdaptability: Can lead others through change, help teams adapt to new directions, and create a culture open to change.\n\nCommunication: Can effectively communicate complex ideas and information to diverse audiences, facilitate effective communication between others, and mentor others in effective communication.\n\nCollaboration: Can take ownership of team initiatives, foster a collaborative environment, and ensure that all team members feel valued and heard.\n\nConflict-Resolution: Can proactively facilitate constructive discussions between parties, and drive mutually beneficial outcomes while maintaining positive working relationships.\n\nDecision-Making: Can facilitate group decision-making processes, build consensus, and commit to a course of action even in the face of uncertainty.\n\nResults Orientation: Can set strategic goals for the organization and lead multiple teams to achieve these goals, demonstrating a strong orientation towards results.\n\nSelf-Motivation: Can take ownership of complex personal or professional initiatives, collaborate with others when necessary, and drive results through self-motivation.\n\nPrioritization: Can take ownership of complex task management, collaborate with others to align priorities, and drive team efficiency.\n\nTime Management: Can manage time effectively, accurately estimate the time required for specific tasks, balance multiple tasks, and help others in improving their time management skills.\n\nLeadership: Can take ownership of complex team initiatives, collaborate with others in decision-making processes, and drive team performance.\n\nProblem-Solving: Can proactively identify and take ownership of complex problem-solving initiatives, initiate preventative measures, collaborate with others to find solutions, and drive successful outcomes.\n\nFollow-Up: Can take ownership of tasks, collaborate with others in managing follow-ups, and drive results through effective task completion.\n\nOrganization: Can oversee complex projects with multiple moving parts, ensure team alignment with organizational systems, and adapt to changing priorities.\n\nSkill Level Requirements\nThe ability to effectively utilize applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to enhance productivity and perform various tasks efficiently - Intermediate\n\nAbility to oversee and direct projects to completion, ensuring goals are met, resources are utilized efficiently, and stakeholders are satisfied - Intermediate\n\nExpertise in various project management frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum, to effectively plan, execute, and close projects - Intermediate\n\nCompetence in utilizing tools like Asana to plan, track, and manage project progress and resources - Intermediate\n\nFamiliarity with the operational mechanisms, hierarchical setup, and the overall framework of SHI, enabling effective navigation and utilization of internal processes - Intermediate\n\n Other Requirements\nCompleted Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required\n\n7+ years of experience in customer-facing or internal project management role required\n\n5+ years of experience in IT technical project management\n\n5+ years of experience in Asana and Agile, hybrid environment preferred\n\nPMP Certification\n\nAbility to travel 10%\n\nThe estimated annual pay range for this position is $120,000 - $170,000 which includes a base salary. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
