Your insights and expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our institution operates with the highest standards of integrity and regulatory compliance.\nResponsibilities\n(a) To carry out regular checks to ensure that all transactions are properly recorded on the operational system and are reflected on the accounting system\n(b) To carry out regular and surprise checks at branch level to confirm transactional efficiency .To initiate investigations when necessary\n(c) To perform regular reviews to evaluate the adequacy of implementation of the company’s overall AML/CFT policies, procedures and internal control systems to establish its effectiveness.\n(d) To recommend corrective measures for weaknesses identified in policies and procedures and ensure timely follow-up actions.\n(e) To ensure timely follow-up actions on recommendations made by the external auditor and the Regulator to the company and provide assurance to the board sub-committees that the recommendations have been satisfactorily addressed.\n(f) To maintain proper documentation of all internal audit works carried out and make it available upon request by the Audit Committee, the External Auditors and the Regulator.\n(g) To submit to Management and to the Audit Committee internal audit reports documenting all deficiencies noted with recommendations for corrective action.\n(h) To review the internal control system in place in the accounts department to give assurance to the Audit Committee and management that proper segregation of duties and responsibilities are in place.\nKnowledge & Experience\nHigher School Certificate\nDegree in Accounting or Finance\nACCA Level 2\n4 years in auditing\nExcellent Communication skills (both written and spoken) in English and French.\nTeam player\nAbility to analyze and solve problems.\nOrganized and meticulous.\nAbility to work under pressure,\nDynamic and motivated with high integrity and professionalism\nHolder of a valid driving
