The ideal candidate is comfortable solving complex problems, taking ownership, working within an accelerated aircraft development environment, and is motivated by getting meaningful capability into the hands of operators quickly.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO:\nDefine and execute the vision of the aircraft power system from concept to production. This includes power generation, regulation, distribution, power quality, control, etc.\nDesign, develop, and integrate state-of-the-art high-power systems tailored for optimal performance and reliability in harsh environments (high altitude, radiation, etc.)\nDesign custom power electronics for high power and high voltage\nDesign an uninterruptible power system with a high-capacity battery\nMake vs. buy trade studies.
