production.\nWhat You'll Do\nTeam Leadership\nDirectly supervise receiving associates and incoming inspectors, including daily assignments, scheduling, training, coaching, and performance evaluations.\nEstablish clear expectations for safety, quality, productivity, accuracy, and professional conduct.\nBalance staffing and workload across receiving and inspection to support production priorities.\nDevelop cross-training plans and maintain training records to ensure personnel are qualified for assigned tasks.\nAddress performance issues promptly and support hiring, onboarding, and employee development.\nReceiving Operations\nOversee receipt, identification, counting, and verification of purchased materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and required documentation.\nEnsure accurate and timely transactions in the ERP system, including part numbers, quantities, revisions, and lot or serial information where required.\nResolve shortages, overages, shipping damage, incorrect parts, and documentation discrepancies with Procurement and suppliers.\nMaintain material identification, traceability, segregation, and handling controls throughout the receiving process.\nCoordinate movement of accepted material to inventory, kitting, or production.\nIncoming Inspection\nExecute incoming inspection activities according to approved inspection plans, drawings, specifications, purchase order requirements, and quality procedures.\nEnsure required supplier documentation is present and reviewed, including certificates of conformance, material certifications, test reports, and first article documentation when applicable.\nVerify inspectors use appropriate inspection methods and calibrated measurement equipment.\nEnsure suspected or confirmed nonconforming material is identified, documented, and quarantined pending authorized disposition.\nPartner with Supplier Quality and Engineering on inspection questions, supplier defects, containment, and material review activities.\nEnsure material is released only after required acceptance criteria and approvals are satisfied.\nCross-Functional Execution & Improvement\nLead daily reviews of receiving and inspection queues, aging material, shortages, and production-critical receipts.\nEscalate quality concerns and material constraints with clear ownership and required resolution dates.\nImprove receiving-to-stock cycle time without compromising inspection requirements or traceability.\nStandardize work instructions, visual controls, and transaction practices.\nSupport supplier corrective actions by providing accurate defect records and inspection evidence.\nMaintain an organized, safe, and audit-ready work area.\nWhat You'll Bring\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience in receiving, incoming inspection, inventory control, or manufacturing quality.\nPrior experience directly supervising hourly or technical personnel, including coaching, work assignment, and performance management.\nAbility to interpret purchase orders, engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection instructions.\nExperience using ERP systems for receiving, inventory transactions, and material status tracking.\nWorking knowledge of inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other applicable measurement equipment.\nStrong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and cross-functional communication.\nAbility to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in aerospace, defense, robotics, or other complex hardware manufacturing.\nFamiliarity with AS9100/ISO 9001 quality environments and AS9102 first article documentation.\nExperience with electronic assemblies, machined parts, composites, or electromechanical hardware.\nFamiliarity with ESD controls, foreign object debris prevention, shelf-life controls, and lot/serial traceability.\nExperience supporting nonconformance management, material review boards, and supplier corrective
