Hivemind Enterprise is a highly technical software product providing tools and user interfaces to support multiple user personae, ranging from AI developers to test engineers.\nWhat you'll do:\nAs an application security engineer for Hivemind you will join our cybersecurity engineering team to help define our application security policies, deploy and configure scanning tools within our CI/CD pipelines, review scanning results and work directly with our developers to identify and fix security issues in or code.\nIn addition, you will have the opportunity to help solve security issues before they start by working with our architecture team to design a secure-by-default software product, performing threat modeling, and validating designs meet our secure coding standards.\nRequired qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree with approximately 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with approximately 4+ years of relevant experience, in cybersecurity, software engineering, or a closely related technical field\nExperience developing or testing cyber secure code\nStrong understanding of modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, configuration management, and software lifecycle processes\nFamiliarity with threat modeling\nExperience with software analysis tools, including static analysis, dynamic analysis, dependency mapping, CVE scanning, etc.\nComfortable working in a Linux development environment\nStrong organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills\nBasic understanding of key cryptography concepts\nPreferred qualifications:\nPrevious experience on an application security team for a large, complex software product\nExperience as a DevSecOps engineer, especially in a GitLab environment\nExperience writing software or testing Python, C/C++, and/or Go\nRed-teaming experience\nSoftware reverse engineering
