do:\nDesign and develop FPGA-based communication modules for advanced UAV platforms.\nDevelop solutions that enable precise timing synchronization and redundance across flight controllers.\nIntegrate FPGA solutions with system-level architecture in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.\nPerform synthesis, implementation, timing closure, bitstream generation.\nDebug, test, and optimize for reliability, latency, and throughput.\nCollaborate with PCB designers during board bring-up and hardware validation.\nContribute to FPGA architecture discussions and help define long-term technical direction within the platform. \nParticipate in design reviews and maintain engineering documentation. \nRequired qualifications:\nB.S., M.S, PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline, such as Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering\nStrong experience with FPGA design, implementation, and verification using VHDL or SystemVerilog.\nDemonstrated ability to build reliable, high-performance digital communication systems.\nSolid understanding of timing closure, clock domain crossing, and system-level integration.\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with evolving requirements.\nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills.\nKnowledge of FPGA timing analysis and timing closure techniques.\nFamiliarity with version control tools such as Git.\nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills.\nPreferred qualifications:\nExperience with Xilinx FPGA ecosystem (Vivado, toolchains, etc).\nIn-depth understanding of ethernet and network stack implementation.\nExperience developing flight computers\nExperience designing solutions for safety-critical real-time systems.\nExperience with AXI4, AXI-Stream, and memory-mapped interfaces.\nExperience using TCL scripting to automate FPGA build flows.\nKnowledge of CI/CD practices for FPGA
