Known for our advanced diagnostic imaging, we are a sought after provider - not only because of our technology but also because of our teamwork and tremendous opportunities for professional growth.\nWhat you will do\nFollow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times. These policies, procedures and protocols can be issued by Shields or the partnering hospital group for the location you are assigned to.\nInform the patient of all aspects of their exam to their level of understanding.\nEnsure patient is cleared of all contraindications and hazards.\nAccurately position the patient and ensure their comfort.\nMaintain visual and verbal contact with the patient during the exam.\nPerform scan in accordance to center’s protocol.\nAdminister intravenous contrast.\nComplete all forms pertaining to patient’s exam.\nRecord patient data to Tech Data Entry program.\nProvide and issue films/CD when appropriate.\nForward data and or films/CD to Radiologist upon completion of exam.\nAssist clerical staff as circumstances arise.\nClean and re-supply equipment and rooms as needed.\nAdhere to all necessary training/licenses based on the credentialing policy.\nContrast administration\nWhat you need:\nThis opportunity requires prior MRI scanning experience.\nNecessary requirements include MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications, and fantastic interpersonal skills. ARMRIT certification accepted at some locations.\nSit and utilize a computer for extended periods of time\nAssist patients with mobility difficulties\nSome inpatient locations may require employee’s to participate in a call schedule/rotation\nTo push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds\nAbove physical requirements can be met with or without accommodation\nAdditional Job Description:\nPay range for this position is $40-$60/hr + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.\nIt is not intended that this Job Description include all details of the work functions of this position.
