The successful candidate will lead and participate in projects involving Microsoft 365 migrations, Entra ID and Intune deployments, Conditional Access implementations, Microsoft Autopilot configuration, office relocations, network infrastructure deployments, and new client onboarding initiatives.\nThe engineer is expected to work independently while collaborating closely with Project Managers, Technical Account Managers, client stakeholders, vendors, and internal technical teams. This role requires a high level of ownership, professionalism, and the ability to navigate complex technical environments while ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with scope, timelines, and established best practices.\nCandidates should be located within the greater Long Island. NY area in order to conduct occasional visits to client sites on an as-needed basis.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead and execute client-facing implementation projects, including Microsoft 365 migrations, tenant consolidations, infrastructure upgrades, network deployments, office relocations, and new client onboarding activities.\nConfigure, deploy, and support Microsoft 365 technologies including Entra ID, Intune, Autopilot, Conditional Access, device compliance policies, endpoint management, and identity solutions.\nPerform hands-on installation, configuration, testing, and validation of network infrastructure including switches, wireless access points, firewalls, VPN connectivity, and related technologies.\nCoordinate and execute technical aspects of office move projects, ensuring successful network connectivity, workstation readiness, and business continuity during deployment activities.\nPerform on-site project work at client locations throughout Long Island and occasionally within New York City.\nParticipate in project discovery, planning, technical reviews, implementation activities, cutovers, and post-deployment validation.\nWork collaboratively with Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and within established project timelines.\nProvide clients with clear and professional status updates, technical guidance, and implementation-related communications throughout project engagements.\nDocument all project work, configurations, implementation procedures, network diagrams, technical findings, and deployment outcomes within company documentation systems including IT Glue.\nMaintain accurate project notes, task updates, and time entries within HaloPSA.\nFollow established implementation methodologies, standard operating procedures, and Professional Services best practices.\nAssist with project handoffs, knowledge transfers, internal reviews, and post-implementation support activities.\nIdentify project risks, technical concerns, and operational challenges early and communicate them appropriately to stakeholders.\nSupport continuous improvement efforts through development of standards, templates, documentation, and repeatable implementation processes.\nParticipate as an escalation resource in the company’s on-call rotation for critical after-hours support issues\nServe as a point of escalation providing cross-team collaboration with the client services team on technical issues outside of their technical capabilities.\nAct as a technical resource and mentor to junior engineers when guidance or project assistance is needed.\nIdentify opportunities for increased efficiency through the use of scripting and/or AI integrations\nScope & Project Management Expectations\n\nAs a senior implementation resource within a Professional Services organization, the Professional Services Implementation Engineer must maintain awareness of project scope, assumptions, exclusions, and deliverables throughout each engagement. Responsibilities include:\n\nReview project scope documentation before beginning assigned work.\nIdentify potential scope deviations, risks, or unforeseen requirements as early as possible.\nCommunicate scope concerns promptly to Project Management and leadership teams.\nAvoid unauthorized project expansion (scope creep) without appropriate client approval and internal review.\nAssist in the identification and documentation of potential change-order opportunities when client requests or when technical requirements exceed the approved project scope.\nMaintain a disciplined and professional approach to project execution while helping ensure consistent delivery outcomes and client expectations remain aligned.\n\nSkills, Knowledge & Expertise\n\n· Success in this role will be measured through a combination of technical execution, project delivery, client experience, documentation quality, and operational accountability. The Professional Services Implementation Engineer is expected to take ownership of assigned project work while maintaining alignment with project scope, delivery standards, and organizational processes.\n\n· Successful completion of assigned project tasks in accordance with approved scope, timelines, and technical requirements.\n\n· Delivery of high-quality implementations that meet documented project objectives and client expectations with minimal rework required.\n\n· Consistent adherence to established implementation standards, technical best practices, and Professional Services processes.\n\n· Proactive identification, communication, and escalation of project risks, blockers, and technical challenges.\n\n· Demonstrated awareness of project scope, including identifying potential scope creep, communicating out-of-scope requests, and supporting appropriate change-order processes when necessary.\n\n· Strong client satisfaction through professional communication, responsiveness, and technical competency throughout project engagements.\n\n· Timely completion of project documentation, including implementation notes, configuration details, technical procedures, network changes, and client-specific knowledgebase updates within IT Glue.\n\n· Prompt and accurate entry of all work performed within HaloPSA, including time entry required for billing, project tracking, forecasting, resource planning, and project performance metrics.\n\n· Maintenance of detailed and up-to-date task status information to support project tracking, billing accuracy, scope management, and reporting.\n\n· Effective collaboration with Project Managers, Technical Account Managers, Client Services personnel, vendors, and client stakeholders.\n\n· Consistent participation in project handoffs, technical reviews, and knowledge-sharing activities that contribute to team development and service quality improvements.\n\n· Reliable completion of assigned on-site and remote implementation work, including office relocations, client onboarding activities, migrations, and scheduled deployment events.\n\n· Demonstrated ownership, accountability, professionalism, and follow-through from project assignment through final
