Join us to help shape the future of digital asset infrastructure.\nAbout the Role\nWe’re hiring an experienced Product Manager with deep trading and derivatives expertise to own and accelerate our institutional trading roadmap. You’ll serve as an AI-native product leader who can turn complex trading and risk requirements into clear product direction, detailed specifications, prototypes, and shipped capabilities.\nYou’ll sit at the intersection of trading operations, product strategy, and engineering, working directly with institutional clients and internal stakeholders to define and deliver infrastructure supporting FX, equities, futures, options, commodities, and crypto markets.\nThis is a highly autonomous role which requires operating from high-level direction, defining scope independently, and applying leverage across the company.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nOwn the roadmap for trading and derivatives products.\n\nTranslate complex trading operations and risk requirements into scalable product capabilities.\n\nPartner directly with institutional clients to understand workflows, pain points, and requirements.\n\nCollaborate with engineering, business, and client-facing teams to deliver trading infrastructure.\n\nDefine product priorities, make roadmap tradeoffs, and proactively solve user problems.\n\nCreate clear product requirements, workflows, and technical specifications.\n\nAI-Native Product Expectations\nAI will be part of your daily workflow as a force multiplier to materially improve the quality and speed of your output. We expect that you are already using modern tooling to operate at a high level and with leverage. We expect you to be confident using AI tools for:\nProduct Discovery & Research\nSynthesize client feedback and trading requirements.\n\nAccelerate market, competitor, and workflow research.\n\nExplore solution options quickly and efficiently.\n\nProduct Design & Prototyping\nCreate visual product concepts and workflows using tools such as Figma, v0, Lovable, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted tools.\n\nProduce functional prototypes that clearly communicate product direction.\n\nSpecifications & Systems Thinking\nGenerate detailed specifications, workflows, and technical documentation.\n\nCreate diagrams, process maps, sequence flows, and structured requirements.\n\nThink in terms of data flows, APIs, architecture, lifecycle events, and edge cases.\n\nProduct Operations\nUse AI to accelerate roadmap planning and execution.\n\nCreate and manage structured delivery workflows in tools such as Asana, including task generation, acceptance criteria, and dependency mapping.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nThis role requires the following skills and experience:\nTrading & Domain Expertise\n3-5+ years of experience in trading, risk management, derivatives, or trading infrastructure.\n\nExperience running or supporting a trading desk or building trading software.\n\nStrong understanding of risk management, hedging, liquidity and exposure, trading infrastructure and market mechanics.\n\nExperience with one or more of: FX, equities, futures, options, commodities and/or crypto markets.\n\nProduct & Technical Thinking\nStrong systems thinking and ability to translate ambiguity into clear product direction.\n\nComfortable reasoning about data flows, APIs, architecture, and operational workflows.\n\nAbility to challenge technical or business assumptions when necessary.\n\nAI-Driven Product Execution\nDemonstrated experience using AI tools to improve product output and execution speed.\n\nExperience using AI for specifications, prototyping, technical documentation, research, or workflow automation.\n\nFamiliarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Figma AI, Cursor, and Asana automations.\n\nBonus Points\nExperience in crypto, fintech, exchange technology, or institutional brokerage.\n\nTechnical or software development background.\n\nExperience working directly with institutional trading clients.\n\nWhy join Shift?\nYou help shape the future of institutional trading infrastructure across crypto, derivatives, and global financial markets.\n\nYou work in a highly autonomous, high impact role with clear opportunities for growth into senior product leadership.\n\nYou are part of a globally distributed team that values collaboration, innovation, and strong ownership.\n\nYou are an integral part of a fast-moving, AI-forward culture where modern tools and automation are embraced to help teams operate at a high level with leverage.\n\nYou work alongside experienced operators, engineers, and institutional clients building the next generation of digital finance infrastructure.\n\nThis is a remote-based role which requires working 40 hours per week.
