The successful candidate will consult with clients, recommend suitable treatments, prepare treatment rooms and ensure that every session provides a comfortable, relaxing and professional experience.\n\nWe seek someone who combines practical treatment skills with excellent communication, attention to detail and a genuine passion for wellness.\n\nKey responsibilities\n\nSpa treatments and client care\n\nDeliver professional spa treatments, including body massages, body scrubs, body wraps and other services offered by the spa, in line with your training and qualifications.\n\nConsult with clients before treatments to understand their preferences, expectations, comfort levels and relevant health considerations.\n\nRecommend appropriate treatments and service packages based on clients’ needs and the services available at the spa.\n\nAdapt treatment techniques and pressure to suit client preferences and remain within professional practice guidelines.\n\nExplain treatment procedures, expected experiences and aftercare recommendations clearly.\n\nMonitor clients’ comfort throughout each session and respond promptly to their needs.\n\nMaintain professional boundaries and respect every client’s privacy, dignity and personal preferences.\n\nClient experience and customer service\n\nWelcome clients warmly and help them feel comfortable and relaxed throughout their visit.\n\nBuild positive client relationships through attentive service, clear communication and consistent professionalism.\n\nProvide accurate information about spa treatments, wellness services, packages and available products.\n\nRespond to client questions and concerns courteously and refer issues to the appropriate team member when necessary.\n\nEncourage repeat bookings through excellent service and personalised treatment recommendations.\n\nContribute to a calm, soothing and inviting spa environment that reflects the Shiida Medi Spa brand.\n\nHygiene, safety and treatment room management\n\nPrepare treatment rooms before each appointment by arranging linens, products, equipment and other required supplies.\n\nClean and sanitise treatment surfaces, tools and equipment before and after every session.\n\nFollow established hygiene, infection-prevention and workplace safety procedures.\n\nUse treatment products and equipment correctly and according to professional guidelines and manufacturer instructions.\n\nReplace used linens and maintain clean, organised and comfortable treatment spaces.\n\nMonitor stock levels and report shortages of treatment products, supplies and equipment.\n\nRecognise when a client’s condition or circumstances may require postponing a treatment or seeking appropriate medical advice, and follow the spa’s procedures.\n\nSpa operations and teamwork\n\nCoordinate with reception staff and other therapists to manage appointments and minimise delays.\n\nMaintain accurate treatment records and client notes in accordance with company procedures and confidentiality requirements.\n\nSupport the promotion of spa services, packages and suitable wellness products through informed, professional recommendations.\n\nAssist with introducing new treatments, seasonal packages and service improvements where appropriate.\n\nCommunicate client preferences and relevant treatment information to authorised team members.\n\nParticipate in training and development activities to improve technical skills and stay informed about wellness trends and treatment techniques.\n\nCandidate requirements\n\nThe ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications, experience and skills:\n\nA relevant certificate, diploma or vocational qualification in Spa Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Massage Therapy or a related field.\n\nPrevious experience as a spa therapist, massage therapist or beauty therapist is an advantage.\n\nPractical knowledge of spa treatments, massage techniques, body treatments and professional product application relevant to the services offered.\n\nGood understanding of hygiene, sanitation, client safety and professional treatment standards.\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand client needs and explain treatments clearly.\n\nA warm, caring and professional approach to client service.\n\nGood time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage appointments efficiently.\n\nAttention to detail when preparing treatment rooms, selecting products and delivering treatments.\n\nRespect for client confidentiality, privacy, dignity and professional boundaries.\n\nThe ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with other team
