design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance backend systems.\n\nThe ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, distributed systems, REST APIs, microservices, real-time architectures, and backend system design, along with proven experience driving technical decisions and owning systems end-to-end.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n- Lead architecture, design, development, and delivery of scalable backend services using Python.\n\n- Own technical direction and architectural decisions for backend systems.\n\n- Design and develop robust REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.\n\n- Build real-time communication systems, including WebSocket-based services.\n\n- Drive performance, scalability, reliability, availability, and security.\n\n- Lead performance optimization, monitoring, debugging, and production issue resolution.\n\n- Establish best practices around code quality, testing, observability, CI/CD, and production readiness.\n\n- Collaborate with Product, Frontend, DevOps, Infrastructure, and other engineering teams.\n\n- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.\n\n- Conduct code and architecture reviews and identify technical risks.\n\n- Take ownership of complex technical problems and deliver production-grade solutions.\n\nRequired Skills : \n\n- 8+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend expertise.\n\n- Strong hands-on experience with Python.\n\n- Strong experience building REST APIs and Microservices.\n\n- Strong understanding of Distributed Systems, Scalability, Fault Tolerance & High Availability.\n\n- Hands-on experience with WebSockets / Real-Time Backend Systems.\n\n- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and caching systems.\n\n- Strong knowledge of performance optimization, monitoring, logging, debugging, and production operations.\n\n- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and clean architecture.\n\n- Proven technical leadership and architectural decision-making experience.\n\n- Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, and code review skills.\n\nGood to Have : \n\n- Experience working on large-scale, high-availability platforms.\n\n- Cloud platform experience.\n\n- Containerization and CI/CD experience.\n\n- Experience leading backend engineering teams or technical initiatives.\n\n-
