For our Partner, we are looking for a Data Engineer (Snowflake / SQL / Data Vault) to join a core data team supporting a strategic client engagement. This role combines application maintenance and support (AMS) activities with the development of new data solutions, offering the opportunity to work across the entire data lifecycle.
About the Project:
As a Data Engineer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of a modern cloud-based data platform. The role focuses on data transformation, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling, with a strong emphasis on delivering scalable and high-quality data solutions.
You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and support the delivery of reliable data products in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data warehouse solutions.
- Design and implement data transformation processes.
- Create and enhance data models to support business requirements.
- Work with Snowflake and develop advanced SQL-based solutions.
- Optimize query performance and data processing workflows.
- Implement data warehouse solutions following Data Vault 2.0 principles.
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and non-technical users.
- Support existing data processes and contribute to new development initiatives.
- Ensure data quality, scalability, and performance across the platform.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehousing projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex query development and performance optimization.
- Experience with data transformation and dimensional modeling.
- Knowledge of Data Vault 2.0 methodology and data warehouse design principles.
- Ability to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and non-technical users.
- Familiarity with data integration and ETL/ELT processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good English communication skills (minimum B2 level, preferably C1).
