We work hard together-and with our clients-to deliver high-quality projects that are on time, on budget and beyond expectations.\nResponsibilities\nThe responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:\nSupervises and directs the overall office management activities of an office or department.\nAssigns and reviews office activities, circumvents and resolves problem areas, coordinates administrative workload leveling requirements, coordinates and performs project personnel administration activities, coordinates administrative functions and interfaces with clients, vendors, and the public.\nReviews and manages office invoices and budget.\nRelies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.\nMay direct the work of others.\nQualifications\nMinimum Requirements:\nBA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in the heavy civil construction industry. \nAdditional Information:\nQualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.\nThis position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.\nThe salary range for this position is between $120,000 - $145,000 per year depending on experience and/or education.\nShimmick's comprehensive benefits plan includes medical, dental and vision coverage; as well as options to participate in an FSA or HSA. The Company also provides employer paid STD, LTD, basic life and AD&D, and an Employee Assistance Program. Additional voluntary benefit offerings include pet insurance, hospital indemnity, critical illness insurance, legal and identity theft protection.\nThese benefits are available to all employees working more than 20 hours per week.
