As project delivery models, regulatory frameworks, supply chains, and technology continue to evolve, our ability to stay flexible and agile in our construction approach is essential to our success.\nResponsibilities\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nAssist in managing day-to-day project activities and field operations.\nReview drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and compliance.\nPrepare and track RFIs, change orders, and other project documentation.\nCoordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews.\nSupport cost control, scheduling, and quality assurance efforts.\nEnsure safety and environmental compliance on-site.\nFacilitate effective communication among project stakeholders.\nQualifications\nMinimum Requirements:\nBachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of heavy civil construction experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.\nHeavy civil project experience involving earthworks and/or concrete structures, as well as subcontractor management, work planning, and RFI's.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management.\nExperience working on heavy civil construction projects in Northern California.\nAdditional Information:\nQualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.\nThis position does not include sponsorship for a United States work authorization.\nThe salary range for this position is between $120,000-$150,000 per year depending on experience and/or education.\nShimmick offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and financial future.
