Most days will be spent performing mechanical assembly and integrating Shinkei’s Poseidon machines. We’re looking for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Technicians are responsible for delivering completed work that meets Shinkei's quality and production standards.\nOur work focuses primarily on mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical assemblies, with some integration routing, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAssemble mechanical and electromechanical components and integrate production machines.\n\nFollow engineering drawings, BOMs, and build instructions to ensure accurate, consistent builds.\n\nUse hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, crimpers, wire strippers, and multimeters.\n\nPerform basic wiring, crimping, cable preparation, and harness routing.\n\nInspect your work, identify discrepancies, and communicate build issues.\n\nTroubleshoot assembly problems and help improve build processes.\n\nMaintain an organized workspace and work with the team to meet production schedules.\n\nWhat You’ll Need\nStrong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical builds through work, school, or personal projects.\n\nFamiliarity with hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches.\n\nBasic electrical skills, including crimping, wire stripping, and multimeter use, or a willingness to learn.\n\nAbility to follow detailed instructions and read or learn to interpret part drawings and technical documentation.\n\nStrong attention to detail, time management, and commitment to quality.\n\nDependability, initiative, and willingness to ask questions, learn, and apply feedback.\n\nComfort working in a fast-paced environment where designs and priorities can change.\n\nBonus Experience\nFamiliarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 wire harness standards and RapidHarness wiring diagrams.\n\nExperience with industrial crimping tools, D-sub or circular connectors, and low-voltage electrical systems.\n\nExperience reading technical drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.\n\nBackground in manufacturing, robotics, automation, or hardware integration.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\nSuccessful technicians take pride in their work, follow instructions carefully, meet build deadlines, and catch issues before they affect quality.
