Technicians are responsible for the handling and shipping of serviced watches and jewelry, customer care, and data capture through Salesforce. The Artisan maintains active communication with the stores they service and acts as an intermediary for corporate partners to ensure repair and engraving best practices enhance the retail guest experience. \nCompletes watch repairs for assigned market in an efficient and timely manner. Responsible for producing high quality service in an efficient and timely manner. This involves shipping and handling, customer care, and data capture.\nResolves customer service issues regarding engravings or watch repairs within their assigned market, which includes correspondence with customers, Shinola customer service, retail management, and carrier services.\nCompletes customer engraving orders for their assigned market and ad-hoc as needed, in a quality, efficient, and timely manner.\nIs responsible for operational task completion; ordering supplies and submitting weekly reporting and email communication.\nSupports the guest experience during peak store traffic times by being a watch and jewelry subject matter expert to support group selling with the sales team.\nRegularly and consistently abides by the Time & Attendance policies and all policies and procedures included within\nRegularly and consistently abides by the Standards of Conduct and our Code of Ethics policies and all policies and procedures included within\nOther duties as assigned\nWho you are:\nWilling and able to work nights, weekends and holidays to meet business needs\nStrong customer service skills\nDexterity and attention to detail\nExcellent written and verbal communications skills\nWell organized and detail oriented\nSelf-starter; able to work independently\nFlexible and adaptable to a high-change environment\nCurious and optimistic\nMust be 18+ years old\nSampling of Total Rewards Program: \nCompensation type: hourly \nCompensation:Compensation can be negotiated based on previous experience & qualifications.\nStarting $20.50 - $22.75 per hour\n\nBonus eligibility: Potential monthly bonus based on store financial performance. \nEmployee hiring referral bonus\n\n Paid Time-off: (for FT status team members only)Paid Corporate Holidays \nPaid Vacation days (accrued)\nPaid Float days\n\n Benefits:Medical, dental & vision (for FT and PT Reg status team members only)\n401k with company match \nEmployee assistance program \nPet Insurance\nMerchandise discounts\nComplimentary employee watch\n\nAt Shinola, we're committed to growing and empowering an inclusive community within our company and industry.
