In this highly specialized role, you will assemble precision watch components and movements in a clean-room production environment, helping bring Shinola’s handcrafted timepieces to life. \nThis role is ideal for individuals who thrive in precision manufacturing environments, enjoy working with small components, and take pride in producing high-quality products with meticulous attention to detail. \nWHAT YOU’LL DO \nWatch Assembly \nAssemble Shinola watch heads across multiple models, including mechanical and quartz movements, following detailed production procedures. \nHandle and assemble small, delicate components with a high degree of accuracy and care. \nUse specialized tools and instruments to complete assembly steps according to standard operating procedures. \nQuality & Precision \nMaintain a high standard of quality and craftsmanship in all assembly work. \nMake quick and accurate troubleshooting decisions when components or assemblies require adjustment. \nPerform tasks requiring strong hand-eye coordination and precision. \nProduction & Process Adherence \nFollow structured production sequences and documented assembly procedures. \nMaintain focus on repetitive tasks over extended periods while ensuring consistent quality. \nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, organized workstation. \nSafety & Compliance \nFollow all safety procedures and wear required protective equipment on the manufacturing floor. \nComply with clean-room requirements including proper attire and workspace standards. \n WHAT YOU BRING \nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent \nStrong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination \nAbility to follow technical instructions and standardized procedures \nAbility to work with small tools and delicate components \nAbility to sit for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks \n20/20 vision (corrected vision acceptable) and ability to see fine details at close range \nSuccessful completion of background check \nPreferred Qualifications \nExperience in electrical assembly, mechanical assembly, or precision manufacturing \nExperience working in clean-room or light manufacturing environments \nWORK ENVIRONMENT \nWork is performed in a clean-room watch manufacturing environment designed to protect product quality and precision. \nOperators wear company-provided smocks, caps, and antistatic footwear while in the assembly area. \nThe role requires extended sitting and repetitive hand movements while assembling small components. \nAbility to occasionally lift or move materials up to 50 lbs. \nWHY JOIN SHINOLA \nShinola is committed to supporting our team members through competitive benefits and unique perks, including: \nMedical, dental, and vision coverage with company-supported premiums \nHealth Savings Account (HSA) contributions for eligible plans \n401(k) with company match \nPaid time off and paid holidays \nPaid parental leave \nTeam member merchandise discounts across Shinola and partner brands \nComplimentary Shinola watch after 90 days of employment \nCommuter benefits and additional lifestyle perks \nShinola is an equal-opportunity employer.
