As a key player in our operations, you’ll support our customers by building orders, dispatching trucks, and making appointments. Your ability to stay cool under pressure, think on your feet, and turn challenges into opportunities will be essential.\nCURA offers industry-leading uncapped commission-based pay at 3%. Training pay for this role starts at $60k.\nResponsibilities:\nVendor Relations: Be the go-to person for all things vendor-related, handling incoming calls and emails with a friendly and professional demeanor. You’ll optimize our vendor network by finding new partners, negotiating rates, and scheduling appointments to enhance the customer experience.\nOrder Management: Create and manage customer orders by seamlessly transferring data from PDFs, Excel, and Outlook to our web-based software.\nProblem Solving: Work closely with brokers to identify issues and implement effective solutions, ensuring smooth operations between vendors and CURA.\nTracking & Communicatio n: Keep a close eye on shipments with hourly tracking and tracing via web-based applications, providing real-time updates to customers and vendors.\nData Management: Accurately input and update load data using our internal platform, ensuring all information is up-to-date and precise.\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Lend a hand with daily customer billing and accounting tasks, working closely with other teams to ensure everything runs smoothly.\nCustomer Service: Deliver top-notch service to customers, vendors, and team members, always striving to exceed expectations.\nQualifications:\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.).\nExperience with data entry and computer-based applications.\nHigh school diploma or GED required, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.\nPrevious experience in logistics, transportation, purchasing, import/export, freight brokering, or supply chain is a plus.\nFamiliarity with drayage, ports, or container shipping companies/steamship lines (SSL) is a bonus.\nStrong communication skills (both written and verbal).\nKeen attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.\nA self-starter with a knack for problem-solving.\nExceptional customer service skills.\nKey Competencies:\nAnalytical Skills: Ability to assess training needs and measure program effectiveness.\nInterpersonal Skills: Strong ability to work with a diverse group of employees and build relationships.\nCreativity: Innovative approach to developing engaging and effective training materials.\nTechnical Proficiency: Skilled in using various training technologies and platforms.\nWorking Conditions:\nFull-time position, 40 hours per week. 22 days of pto\nCompetitive pay.\nFast paced and dynamic environment.\nIn-person/onsite role.\nBenefits:\n401(k)\nMedical Dental & Vision insurance\nFlexible spending account\nHealth insurance\nHealth savings account\nLife insurance\n22 Days paid time off annually\nParental leave\nEqual Opportunity Employer:\nNo sponsorship is available for this position.\nCURA Freight does not accept and will not review unsolicited resumes from search firms.\nCURA Freight is an equal opportunity employer.
