Strong performers have opportunities to take on more responsibility and continue building their careers as ShipMonk grows.\nWhat you'll do\nLead, coach, and develop approximately 25-30 warehouse associates\nRun shift huddles and set clear daily priorities for your team\nMonitor productivity, throughput, quality, accuracy, attendance, and safety\nLearn how to allocate labor based on volume and operational priorities\nUse data to understand performance and identify root causes\nCoach associates and provide clear, timely feedback\nPartner with Operations leaders and teams across HR, Safety, Quality, and Engineering\nHelp onboard and train new associates\nIdentify opportunities to eliminate waste and improve processes\nMaintain a safe, organized, and compliant work area\nLearn the operation from the floor up while progressively taking greater ownership\nWhat we're looking for\nWe're especially interested in early-career candidates who have:\nAn interest in building a career in operations, supply chain, logistics, fulfillment, or people leadership\nExposure to a professional or operational environment through an internship, co-op, part-time job, project, or other relevant experience\nDemonstrated leadership potential through work experience, campus organizations, athletics, volunteer leadership, military experience, or other team environments\nComfort working with data and metrics to understand performance and solve problems\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nA willingness to spend the majority of the shift on the fulfillment floor working directly with your team\nFlexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime based on business needs\nAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.\nNice to have\nA degree, current enrollment, or coursework in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Engineering, or a related field\nInternship or co-op experience in supply chain, logistics, fulfillment, distribution, manufacturing, transportation, or operations\nCoursework or project experience involving operations management, supply chain analytics, Lean, Six Sigma, process improvement, or data analysis\nPrevious experience leading a team, project, student organization, athletic team, or other group\nA college degree and prior full-time warehouse supervisory experience are not required. We're looking for leadership potential, relevant exposure, and someone who wants to build a career in operations.\nWhat success looks like\nIn your first 30 days: You're learning the operation, getting to know your team, understanding the KPIs that drive your department, and spending significant time learning directly on the floor.\nIn 90 days: You're increasingly accountable for your team's performance, using data to identify problems, coaching associates, and beginning to identify opportunities to improve your operation.\nIn year one: You understand how people, labor, inventory, technology, and process come together to run a high-volume fulfillment operation.
