Strong performers have opportunities to take on greater responsibility and continue building their careers at ShipMonk.\nAbout the role\nYou'll own your department: the people, the processes, and the numbers.\nAs a Night Shift Operations Supervisor, you'll be the floor-level leader your team looks to for direction, decisions, coaching, and support throughout the shift.\nWhat your night actually looks like\nStart the shift with a team huddle and set clear priorities and expectations\nLead, coach, and develop approximately 25-30 warehouse associates\nMonitor productivity, throughput, quality, accuracy, attendance, and safety in real time\nAdjust labor and workflow as volume and priorities change\nCoach associates directly on the floor and address performance issues early\nTroubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with other departments when problems arise\nUse performance data to identify root causes and improve results\nTrain and onboard new associates\nMaintain inventory accuracy, equipment standards, sanitation, and safety\nEnsure a strong handoff between shifts by clearly communicating results, risks, and outstanding issues\nWhat you'll own\nA team of approximately 25-30 associates\nNight-shift execution and department performance\nProductivity, quality, throughput, accuracy, and safety KPIs\nLabor allocation and workflow\nAssociate coaching and development\nProcess improvement\nShift-to-shift communication and operational handoffs\nWhat you'll need\nRequired\n2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in warehouse operations, distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, logistics, or a related environment\nStrong coaching and people-leadership skills\nAbility to make sound decisions in a fast-paced operation\nComfort using data and KPIs to manage performance\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work an overnight/night-shift schedule\nFlexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime based on business needs\nAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.\nNice to have\nExperience with warehouse management or inventory systems\nDegree or coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field\nLean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or other continuous-improvement experience\nWhat success looks like\nIn your first 30 days: You know your team, understand the operation, and know the KPIs that drive your department.\nIn 90 days: Your team understands expectations, you're consistently managing performance, and you're identifying opportunities to improve the shift.\nIn year one: You've built a reliable, high-performing operation, developed people on your team, and demonstrated your ability to take on greater responsibility as ShipMonk continues to grow.\nWork Location\nThis is an on-site role supporting ShipMonk's Pittston fulfillment operations.
