We are looking for a Fullstack Engineer with a strong focus on frontend development to join Shippio’s engineering team. In this role, you will primarily work on developing and improving our logistics platform using React, while also contributing to backend development with Ruby on Rails and GraphQL.You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build intuitive, scalable, and reliable products that solve complex challenges in international logistics. Beyond implementation, we expect you to contribute to the engineering team through code reviews, technical discussions, architecture improvements, and mentoring junior engineers.
## Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using React
- Build intuitive, scalable, and maintainable user interfaces for complex logistics workflows
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to translate business and user requirements into high-quality product experiences
- Contribute to backend development using Ruby on Rails and GraphQL when necessary
- Design and integrate GraphQL APIs between frontend and backend systems
- Improve frontend architecture, code quality, performance, testing, and developer experience
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback
- Proactively identify technical challenges and drive improvements and solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and support their technical growth
- Contribute to technical decision-making, engineering standards, and best practices across the team
- Work effectively with cross-functional team members to deliver high-quality products
