Our IT department is a collaborative, hands-on environment where team members have opportunities to work with a variety of technologies, contribute ideas, and see the real-world impact of their work.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining applications and integrations supporting business operations.\n\nWrite and maintain Microsoft SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and other database-related solutions.\n\nUtilize source code repositories and version control tools, such as Git, to manage development projects.\n\nLeverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, troubleshoot issues, and explore solutions while following company security and development standards.\n\nAssist with EDI integrations, data mapping, and troubleshooting electronic transactions with customers and business partners.\n\nSupport existing applications, investigate reported issues, and implement enhancements.\n\nCollaborate with developers, IT team members, and business departments to understand requirements and develop practical solutions.\n\nCreate and maintain technical documentation for applications, integrations, and processes.\n\nParticipate in application testing, debugging, and deployment activities.\n\nResearch new technologies and identify opportunities to improve existing processes through development and automation.\n\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\nFoundational knowledge of software development concepts, programming logic, and application design.\n\nExperience with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.\n\nFamiliarity with source code repositories and version control practices, preferably Git.\n\nUnderstanding of basic development practices, including testing, debugging, documentation, and code maintenance.\n\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted development tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms.\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.\n\nGood communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new technologies.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with any of the following technologies or areas would be beneficial but is not required:\nElectronic Data Interchange (EDI), including common transaction formats such as X12.\n\nMicrosoft 365 / Office 365 development and integrations.\n\nMicrosoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.\n\nPowerShell scripting and automation.\n\nMicrosoft Graph API.\n\nC# and .NET development.\n\nREST APIs, JSON, XML, and system-to-system integrations.\n\nExperience developing applications or integrations in transportation, logistics, or related industries.\n\nEducation and Experience\nEducation or experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, or a related field is preferred.
