This role serves as a key liaison between Maintenance, Operations, Parts, and Leadership Teams to ensure fleet assets are operating at peak performance.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintenance Systems & Data Management\nServe as the primary administrator for fleet maintenance software and KPI tracking systems.\n\nEnsure the accuracy and integrity of maintenance data, including labor hours, fault codes, parts usage, and repair documentation.\n\nDevelop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics that provide actionable insights for leadership.\n\nAnalyze maintenance trends and recommend operational improvements that drive efficiency and reduce costs.\n\nReliability Engineering & Performance Improvement\nMonitor fleet performance data to identify recurring failures, reliability concerns, and component life-cycle trends.\n\nConduct root cause and failure analyses to determine long-term corrective actions.\n\nImplement reliability-focused initiatives that reduce unplanned downtime and improve asset utilization.\n\nEvaluate emerging maintenance technologies, lubricants, components, and equipment solutions to enhance fleet performance and safety.\n\nPreventive Maintenance Strategy & Standardization\nDevelop and continuously improve preventive maintenance schedules, inspection procedures, and service intervals.\n\nPartner with maintenance leadership to create and maintain standardized operating procedures across all maintenance locations.\n\nEnsure consistency in maintenance quality, repair practices, and diagnostic processes.\n\nCoordinate maintenance planning with operational departments to maximize equipment availability and minimize disruptions.\n\nVendor Management & Strategic Sourcing\nEvaluate vendors, service providers, and parts suppliers based on quality, responsiveness, cost effectiveness, and overall performance.\n\nCollaborate with the Parts Department to optimize inventory levels and support predictive maintenance initiatives.\n\nCo-manage warranty recovery efforts to maximize eligible reimbursements from manufacturers.\n\nSupport strategic sourcing initiatives that improve service quality while reducing maintenance expenditures.\n\nTraining & Workforce Development\nIdentify technical skill gaps through maintenance performance data and technician evaluations.\n\nCoordinate training programs, certifications, equipment-specific instruction, and safety initiatives.\n\nSupport the development of maintenance leaders, shop foremen, and technicians.\n\nPrepare maintenance teams for emerging technologies, advanced vehicle systems, and future fleet innovations.\n\nKey Performance Indicators\nSuccess in this role will be measured through:\nPreventive Maintenance Compliance of 95% or greater\n\nImproved fleet reliability and equipment uptime\n\nReduced unplanned maintenance events\n\nMaintenance spend maintained within budgetary guidelines\n\nIncreased warranty recovery dollars\n\nHigher planned-to-reactive maintenance ratios\n\nEnhanced technician productivity and operational efficiency\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Fleet Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.\n\nMinimum of 5 years of fleet maintenance, reliability, asset management, or maintenance planning experience.\n\nStrong knowledge of CMMS and fleet maintenance management systems.\n\nExperience with KPI reporting, data analytics, and performance management.\n\nUnderstanding of preventive maintenance programs, reliability principles, and root cause analysis methodologies.\n\nExcellent communication, leadership, project management, and organizational skills.\n\nAbility to influence cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nWhy Join Best Logistics Group?\nAt Best Logistics Group, you'll join an organization that values innovation, teamwork, safety, and professional growth. Drive the future of maintenance with Best Logistics Group.\nRequirements\nExperience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in fleet maintenance operations, with at least 3 years in a data-driven, or supervisory capacity.\nTechnical Skills: Expert-level proficiency in data analysis tools (such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau).
