This hands-on role combines powder coating operations with utility responsibilities to keep production running efficiently. Duties include powder coating, supporting production flow, performing quality inspections, and assisting with shipping, receiving, and facility maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to grow within a manufacturing environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nUtility & Production Support\nPowder coating\nOperate the Hem Saw to cut and stage raw material for production.\nOrganize, label, paint, and store incoming raw material.\nOperate a forklift to load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility.\nSet up and operate drill and tap machines.\nMonitor coolant, oil, and waste barrels, replacing or refilling as needed.\nOperate the clip machine and perform quality checks on finished parts.\nAssist with shipping, receiving, laser etching, deburring, sandblasting, tumbling, and part assembly.\nPerform basic machine and building maintenance, including changing filters, monitoring coolant levels, changing light bulbs, and seasonal outdoor maintenance.\nEmpty trash, remove scrap, clean chip gondolas, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.\nFollow all company safety procedures and quality standards.\nCompensation\nPay Range: $18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\nKnowledge of powder coating is a plus.\nExperience with Okuma controls is a plus.\nAbility to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.\nBasic shop math skills, including decimals and geometry.\nForklift experience is preferred or willingness to become certified.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the shift.\nPersonal Qualifications\nDependable and punctual\nPositive attitude\nSelf-motivated\nTeam player\nFlexible to work 40-50 hours per week\nWillingness to learn and adapt\nStrong communication skills\nContributes to a positive work culture\nBenefits\nBenefits\nThis is a temp-to-hire opportunity.
