Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring\nAnalyze category performance metrics including GMV, orders, traffic, conversion, margin, and campaign performance\nIdentify SKU-level, seller-level, and category-level performance trends and opportunities\nConduct deep-dive analysis to diagnose performance fluctuations and uncover growth opportunities\nSupport weekly/monthly business performance reviews and reporting\n2. Data Infrastructure & Reporting\nBuild and maintain automated dashboards and reporting pipelines using SQL and Excel\nDevelop scalable datasets and queries to support category and commercial analysis\nEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and usability for stakeholders across teams\nImprove existing reporting processes through automation and optimization\n3. Business Insights & Strategic Support\nTranslate complex datasets into clear business insights and actionable recommendations\nSupport category managers in identifying assortment gaps, seller performance issues, and growth opportunities\nAnalyze campaign performance and promotion ROI to support commercial planning\nPrepare analytical reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and management reviews\n4. Cross-functional Collaboration\nWork closely with Category Managers, Business Development teams, and BI teams\nTranslate business questions into structured analytical problems and SQL-based solutions\nSupport ad-hoc analytical requests and special projects related to category growth and performance optimization\nBachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, or related fields\n1-3 years of experience in analytics, ecommerce, consulting, or related fields \nStrong SQL skills and ability to query large datasets\nAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data manipulation)\nExperience working with large datasets and performing structured analysis\nStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset\nAbility to translate data insights into clear business recommendations\nStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously\nAbility to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in ecommerce, marketplace platforms, or digital businesses\nExposure to BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)\nExperience analyzing campaign performance, promotions, or seller performance\nBasic programming knowledge (Python, R, or similar) is a plus\nThis role offers strong exposure to commercial strategy and category management within Shopee.
