SEH, that's who. \" - Civil Engineering Technician\n\n\"Having the feeling that my voice matters and believing that SEH truly cares about the employees is so satisfying!\" - Sr Financial Analyst\n\n\"It feels good having colleagues and supervisors that provide support and resources for growth and learning!\" - Civil Engineer\n\n\"This is the first company I've worked for with a true entrepreneurial spirit.\" - Sr Mechanical Engineer\n\nWhy you’ll love SEH:\nCollaborate on amazing projects of varying size and complexity that positively impact communities\n\nBeing 100% employee-owned means we all share in the company’s success\n\nCareer development through continued education, licensure/certification, skills, and technical training\n\nWork arrangements that promote work/life balance\n\nFlexible holidays enable individuals to tailor their festivities\n\nPaid Family Leave provides time to care for loved ones, whether family by birth or family by choice\n\nResponsibilities include:\nStructural analysis, design, and detailing of commercial and residential structural elements, including foundation systems, framing, and lateral force resisting systems, using a variety of structural material types including steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.\nPreparing structural calculation packages for small to midsize projects using structural analysis software such as RISA, RAM, and Tekla Tedds. \nWork as part of the structural design team on large, complex projects\nUsing Autodesk REVIT to produce structural models and construction documents\nUsing structural design codes including IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, PCI, NDS\nWriting and/or compiling specifications for structure elements\nCreating quantity take offs and cost estimates for structure elements\nReview of shop drawings and submittals during construction administration\nWorking collaboratively with teammates within the structural group and outside the group on larger multi-discipline projects/tasks\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in civil engineering with an emphasis on structural analysis and design. \nUnderstanding of basic structural engineering fundamental concepts and practices \nPE license in Colorado or ability to obtain within 6 months\nWorking experience with REVIT Structure to produce construction documents \nApplicant should have knowledge of structural steel design, reinforced concrete design, CMU, and/or structural timber design and be familiar with structural analysis software that may include RISA, RAM, LPile, or other similar programs. \nThe applicant should be familiar with IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, and NDS design codes \nMust possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide own means of reliable transportation for occasional day trips. \nAbility to travel as needed for team meetings, on-site inspections/visits, etc. Occasional overnight travel may be required. \nA positive attitude and ability to work in a collaborative environment with other team members. \nPreferred Qualifications:\n3-5 years of previous structural building design experience \nMasters degree in Civil/Structural Engineering \nOther structural design experience or general familiarity with either water/wastewater, drainage, aviation facilities, or transportation structures. \nNCEES record, or ability to obtain NCEES record within 12 months of start date \nWho We Are\nBetter Places.
