Your mission is to help us build a well-oiled, customer-centric machine. You'll lead a team of exceptionally talented, bright, and committed people. As Warehouse Supervisor, you will help us deliver our promise to our customers. You will oversee receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities within the warehouse, ensuring we meet quality standards at every turn. You must be an exceptional people manager and operationally savvy. You will lead a large team of associates and several functional Team Leads. You must have the ability and vision to help us scale rapidly. Our ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and can track multiple facets of the warehouse at once.\nYour primary responsibilities will be:\nEnsure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals\n\nSupport development of warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping\n\nReview and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met\n\nInspire, develop, and support your direct reports and warehouse associates\n\nConnect your team to our vision and bring focus & intention to delivering on our stated goals\n\nManage the labor planning needs for your team to meet weekly goals through accurate planning for current and future hiring needs\n\nReview daily performance data and analyze for trends and opportunities. Make informed decisions and respond to changing operational needs effectively e.g. staffing and process changes.\n\nYou will support some of these functional areas:\nOutbound: manage the entire outbound shipping process, including picking, folding, and shipping orders. You will ensure that every detail is perfect in our Short Story curations. This team also processes Client exchanges.\n\nReturns: ensure all returned items are of the highest quality before returning them to inventory to delight another Client.\n\nNew Merch: receive new inventory from our vendor partners, tag, categorize, and bin 100% of it.\n\nSupport: enable overall operational success by resolving fulfillment issues, repairing and restoring inventory, and keeping equipment running smoothly.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nYou have a four-year degree or equivalent professional experience\n\nYou are an exceptional people manager with 3+ years leading large teams\n\nYou are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or G Suite (Google Sheets, Docs, Slides)\n\nThis is a 100% in-person role.
