Informs patients / families, staff and students about the use and care of casts, traction and Ilizarov devices; monitors and orders casting and traction supplies and equipment.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerforms direct and indirect patient care activities within the scope of practice of an Orthopedic Technician\nPerforms casting, traction and Ilizarov services under the direction and supervision of an Attending Orthopedic Surgeon\nDemonstrates open, accurate and timely communication with patients/families and interdisciplinary team members to ensure effective therapeutic intervention.
