This involves consideration for the scope of care provided by the department, preparation and maintenance of the department budget, recruitment, retention, and training of staff, and coordination and integration of services within the department and in conjunction with other departments.\nKey Responsibilities\nDemonstrate ability to function in the Radiologic Technologist role for pediatric patients.\nVerify patient information, reviewing and recording treatment provided.\nDemonstrates Competency with radiology equipment.\nPrepare patients for examination/procedures.\nMonitor patients during procedures as required.\nDocuments information as required.\nAssist physicians with examinations, procedures or other patient care activities.\nMonitor and control the environment.\nProvide equipment and supplies in a cost-effective manner based on the patient's needs.\nEnsure patient's rights.\nParticipate in patient/family teaching based on the developmental age of patient.\nOrient, instruct, and train assigned personnel.\nApplies radiation safety practices as designated in Federal and State Radiation Control Regulations.\nPerform actions that demonstrate accountability.\nIn accordance with the Shriners Children's philosophy, present behaviors and actions which create a high level of customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, vendors and clinic School Diploma/GED \nLeadership Experience Radiology Technologist license in state of practice \nBasic Life Support (BLS) \nPreferred Qualifications\nManagement/Supervisory in Diagnostic Imaging \nClinical expertise in Pediatric Orthopedics\n\nCompensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental
