The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate and graduate students. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Additionally, Interns who are asked to relocate to Illinois for onsite internships will receive a housing stipend to cover living expenses. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter.\nThe Accounting Intern will assist in fiscal year end and audit activities supporting the Accounting Department. As the accounting intern you will also coordinate requests to subsidiaries, create and verify spreadsheets, and pulling source documentation.\nThis Internship is Hybrid, based in our Niles, IL location.\nResponsibilities\nThe intern will assist with year end audit support including pulling source document \nThe intern will assist with fixed asset creation and reporting \nThe intern will assist month end close processes including accrual identification \nThe intern will also assist with AP invoice processing and vendor payment processing \nQualifications\n2 years of study completed while working toward Bachelor’s Degree with major in Accounting. Must have at least two semesters of Accounting Theory \nIntermediate Excel skills (Vlookup, filter/sort, pivot tables) \nProven analytical and communication skills \nAttention to detail \nAbility to adapt to new situations and challenges \nProfessional, positive attitude \nSAP experience desirable but not required \nApplicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
