The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate and graduate students. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Additionally, Interns who are asked to relocate to Illinois for onsite internships will receive a housing stipend to cover living expenses. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter.\nThe Cloud Operations Intern will assist the Cloud Operations team with operational monitoring, incident triage, automation, documentation, and cloud service readiness activities that improve reliability, supportability, and operational visibility across Shure cloud platforms.\nThis internship will be Onsite, based in Niles, IL.\nResponsibilities\nMonitor cloud operational dashboards, alerts, and service health signals; assist with initial triage and escalation. \nSupport field issue intake and investigation by collecting logs, validating symptoms, documenting findings, and tracking follow-up actions. \nHelp document and improve CloudOps runbooks, SOPs, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting guides. \nAssist with automation and scripting efforts for repeatable operational tasks, reporting, and environment checks. \nSupport Associate Portal operational enablement by helping organize support content, access/change request workflows, and operational readiness materials. \nParticipate in cloud service readiness activities including validation checklists, deployment support preparation, and handoff documentation. \nCollaborate with CloudOps engineers and cross-functional teams such as Development, IT, Security, QA/SV, Product, and Customer Success. \nQualifications\nIn-process of a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or a related technical discipline. \nInterest in cloud operations, DevOps/SRE, production support, monitoring, incident management, or service reliability. \nFamiliarity with at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or Bash. \nBasic understanding of cloud platforms, APIs, databases, networking, or web applications. \nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills with attention to detail. \nAbility to communicate clearly, ask questions, and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. \nSelf-motivated, accountable, and comfortable learning new tools in a fast-paced operational environment. \nInterest in leveraging AI-assisted tools to accelerate software development, scripting, operational automation, knowledge management, and problem-solving in a cloud operations environment. \nApplicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
