The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate and graduate students. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter.\nAs the Electrical Engineering Intern (RF Circuitry), you will work under the close direction of senior staff on the design, implementation, and testing of electronic circuits for wireless microphones and wireless conference systems.\nThis Internship is Onsite in Niles, IL.\nResponsibilities\nDesigning, simulating, and testing RF circuitry \nDeveloping printed circuit board assemblies \nAssembling prototypes \nPerforming validation testing of circuits \nCircuit defect analysis and resolution \nPerforming system/sub-system level tests \nDocumentation \nCompleting an independent design project \nQualifications\nTwo years of coursework in Electrical Engineering or a related area. \nBasic knowledge of RF amplifiers, mixers, synthesizers, filters, antennas, pre-built modules, and other RF components. \nBasic knowledge of audio related circuits, audio systems, and audio measurement techniques. \nBasic knowledge of test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers. \nSoldering and circuitry building or repair skills \nAbility to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and an attention to detail. \nGood communication skills and the ability to work well in a team \nExperience with schematic CAD software, PCB layout, and SPICE simulation software is a plus. \nExperience with ADS, HFSS, and Python is a plus. \nApplicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
