As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for shaping, clarifying, negotiating, and designing our hardware, firmware, and Angular/Node based applications and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and ensure the highest level of performance, reliability, and scalability.\nThis role is hybrid, reporting to our Niles, IL HQ office 1 to 2 days a week.\nResponsibilities\nClarify, shape, and bring structure to the new and exciting features of our Professional Audio platform roadmap.\nShape and define detailed requirements based on stakeholder interviews and personal experience.\nArchitect, negotiate, and design Angular/Node applications with a focus on AWS and Electron and demonstrate deep technical knowledge.\nDevelop POCs and Reference implementations to validate User Experience flows and Architectural components.\nApply standards and research/share best practices.\nQualifications\n8+ years’ experience as System Engineer or Software Architect on Angular, Electron, or Cloud products.\nStrong desire to drive clarity through documentation.\nArticulate, independent and detail oriented.\nIoT product experience highly desired.\nPrograming languages - Node.js, TypeScript, Angular, and JavaScript\nExperience with Desktop applications. Electron is preferred.\nExperience with Cloud platforms. AWS is preferred.\nExtensive technical experience either in infrastructure or production management\nKnowledge of network products and protocols, including TCP/IP, Firewalls, Load Balancers, and DNS\nHigh level of analytical skills in an IT environment\nProcess, tools, and service level improvement experience\nApplicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for the opportunity. The base salary for this position ranges from $145,800 to $247,900. This position may also be eligible for our incentive pay program, which varies based on individual and Company performance in the year. If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions.
