The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Golang, distributed systems, microservices, concurrency, and high-throughput backend applications.\nExperience building trading platforms, pricing engines, order management systems, execution systems, market-data platforms, or other low-latency financial systems will be highly preferred.\nAs a Lead Engineer, you will remain hands-on while also providing technical direction, mentoring engineers, reviewing architecture, and driving engineering best practices across the team.\nResponsibilities:\nLead the design, development, and architecture of backend systems primarily using Golang.\nBuild scalable, high-throughput, and low-latency services using Go.\nDesign and develop REST, gRPC, and event-driven microservices.\nBuild highly concurrent applications using goroutines, channels, synchronization primitives, worker pools, and Go concurrency patterns.\nDesign systems capable of processing large volumes of real-time requests, events, and transactions.\nWork on distributed systems where performance, reliability, fault tolerance, and scalability are critical.\nContribute to the development of pricing, execution, trading, market data, or order-processing systems.\nIntegrate with internal services, external APIs, exchanges, liquidity providers, or third-party platforms where required.\nWork with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging/event-streaming technologies.\nDesign and optimize relational and NoSQL data stores, caching layers, and data-access patterns.\nIdentify and resolve performance bottlenecks across CPU, memory, networking, database, and application layers.\nWrite clean, idiomatic, testable, and maintainable code Go code.\nEstablish coding standards, engineering practices, and architectural guidelines.\nConduct code reviews and mentor engineers on system design and Golang best practices.\nParticipate in production deployments, troubleshooting, observability, and incident resolution.\nCollaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions.\nRequirements:\n6+ years of overall software engineering experience, primarily in backend engineering.\nStrong hands-on experience building production systems using Golang.\nDeep understanding of Go fundamentals, including goroutines, channels, context, interfaces, error handling, synchronization, memory management, profiling, and performance optimization.\nStrong understanding of concurrency, parallelism, race conditions, locking, and thread-safe application design.\nExperience building high-performance APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.\nStrong understanding of system design, scalability, fault tolerance, resilience, and high availability.\nExperience with REST and/or gRPC.\nExperience with messaging and streaming technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.\nStrong understanding of SQL databases, NoSQL systems, caching, indexing, and database optimization.\nExperience with Docker and Kubernetes.\nExperience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD, automated testing, observability, logging, monitoring, and production debugging.\nStrong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.\nExperience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3427,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":6,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["IT Outsourcing & Dedicated Teams","Custom Software Development"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-25T03:36:05Z"}],"liveness":{"score":90,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.903,"p_room":1,"age_days":2,"expected_fill_days":24,"reasons":["seen:2","velocity","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-09-27T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/shuru-lead-engineer-go","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/shuru-lead-engineer-go.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-28T04:43:48Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":3046,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":1954,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-29T00:00:00Z"}}}
