Rust Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable Order Management Systems (OMS) using Rust.
• Build reliable backend services and REST APIs.
• Develop concurrent, asynchronous, and performance-critical systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Troubleshoot performance, memory, and production issues.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps teams.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural decisions.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in Rust.
• Proven experience developing Order Management Systems, preferably for trading, fintech, e-commerce, or other high-volume platforms.
• Strong understanding of Rust concepts, including ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, traits, and generics.
• Experience with Tokio, Actix Web, Axum, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Git.
• Familiarity with Docker, cloud platforms, and CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and system design.

Good to Have:

Experience in any of the following areas:

• Trading Pricing Engines.
• Order Management Systems and capital markets.
• Liquidity aggregation or Smart Order Routing (SOR).
• Distributed systems, WebAssembly, fintech, or low-latency applications.
• Order lifecycle management, validation, execution, state transitions, concurrency, and failure recovery.
• Contributions to Rust-based open-source projects.
