The Manager may also have the opportunity to participate in engineering analysis and design with other divisions of the company in nuclear, healthcare, dams and waterways, defense, and other industrial practice areas.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nOversee certification programs including full-scale shake table testing of equipment (including travel to labs)\nDirect client interactions \nPrepare quotes and proposals for clients\nDevelop reports and supporting documentation for IBC seismic and wind compliance\nReview product information provided by manufacturers to understand product variations\nCoordinate and delegate project tasks to Certification Engineers\nCoordinate and schedule laboratory testing\nManage project budgets, expenses, and schedules\nEvaluate non-standard structural members and equipment components\nStructural analysis of equipment and nonstructural systems for wind and seismic loading\nDesign anchorage for nonstructural components\nRequired Skills/Qualifications:\n3+ years of experience in relevant industries\nBS in Civil, Structural, Mechanical or related engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited university\nEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification\nDemonstrated academic or professional experience using hand calculations and/or structural analysis computer software to calculate demands and capacities of structural systems\nSelf-motivated and eager to learn\nExcellent written and oral communication skills\nWillingness and ability to travel (up to 20% of time)\nDesired:\nMS/MEng in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline from an ABET accredited university \nLicensed professional engineer in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering\nProficient in ANSYS, ABAQUS, SAP2000, LS-DYNA, Matlab, Mathcad, AutoCAD/Revit, Solidworks or other similar software\nComputer programming skills related to database construction and querying, signal processing, or task automation\nKnowledge of seismic analysis, code-based steel and concrete design, nonlinear structural analysis\nThe expected salary range for this role is $90,000 - $111,000 in Sacramento, CA; $88,600 - $108,400 in Denver, CO; and $81,600 - $100,600 in Atlanta, GA.
