Our optimism transforms outcomes.\n We are hiring a Staff DevOps Engineer for the AI Factory product team at Mumbai, responsible for architecting, scaling, and standardizing the cloud and platform foundations that power AI-driven products and internal platforms.\nThis is a senior individual contributor role with org-level technical influence. The Staff DevOps Engineer operates beyond a single product or squad, shaping platform strategy, reliability standards, CI/CD foundations, and cloud cost governance across the AI Factory. The role is hands-on where it matters most, while also acting as a technical authority and escalation point for complex infrastructure, deployment, and reliability challenges.\nKey Responsibilities\nArchitect and evolve cloud-native platform foundations supporting AI Factory products and internal platforms\n\nDefine and enforce DevOps standards across environments: CI/CD, deployment patterns, observability, security, and cost controls\n\nDesign scalable infrastructure patterns for multi-service, multi-environment systems\n\nAct as the final escalation point for complex infrastructure and reliability issue\n\nOwn architecture and best practices across AWS / GCP / Azure (multi-cloud exposure)\n\nDesign highly available, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure\n\nDrive reliability engineering practices: SLOs, SLIs, incident response, post-mortems, and resilience planning.\n\nIdentify systemic risks early (capacity, cost, security, scaling) and address them proactively\n\nArchitect and standardize CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)\n\nEnable safe, repeatable deployments across products and teams\n\nImprove developer experience by reducing friction in build, test, and deployment workflows.\n\nSupport release strategies such as blue-green, canary, and rollback mechanisms\n\nStay hands-on with critical infrastructure code, platform refactors, and high-impact improvements\n\nReview infrastructure designs and pipeline changes for correctness, simplicity, and long-term sustainability\n\nBuild foundational tooling that enables multiple teams to move faster and safer\n\nPartner closely with Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and Product teams to align platform capabilities with delivery needs\n\nMentor senior DevOps and Platform engineers through reviews, architecture discussions, and coaching\n\nAct as a multiplier, improving outcomes across teams without direct people management\n\n Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. \n8 -12 years in DevOps / Platform / Infrastructure Engineering.\n\nProven experience operating at Staff / Principal-like scope (multi-team, platform-level impact).\n\nStrong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).\n\nDeep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (cluster design, scaling, security).\n\nStrong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines\n\nInfrastructure automation and scripting using Python, Bash, or similar.\n\nExperience with monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK / Loki).\n\nStrong understanding of networking, IAM, secrets management, and cloud security fundamental.\n\nExcellent communicator, able to translate technical trade-offs to engineering leadership and Stake holders.\n\nComfortable owning triage, incident decisions, and conducting RCAs.\n\n What Success Looks Like\nThinks in systems, not just features.\n\nActs as a force multiplier for technical teams.\n\nDrives clarity in ambiguous technical situations.\n\nChooses long-term maintainability over short-term hacks.\n\nCommunicates complex ideas with precision and calm authority.\n\nLeads through technical credibility, not hierarchy.\n\nWhat We Offer\nOpportunity to lead cutting-edge AI projects in a global consulting environment.\n\nA dynamic and collaborative team environment with diverse projects.\n\nSia is an equal opportunity employer.
