Please submit your application now to take the first steps towards a rewarding career now in the security industry.\nEssential Functions / Responsibilities\nProvide excellent customer service and ensure timely response to incidents, alarms, notifications, and calls for service on their relevant shift.\n\nEnsure all forms of communication, such as emails, phone conversations, and personal interactions, are conducted in a confidential, courteous, and professional manner and documented appropriately.\n\nMaintain knowledge of GSOC-specific standard operating procedures.\n\nManage life-safety, alarm, communications, reporting, video management, and access control functions at designated locations.\n\nInvestigate and respond to alarms promptly.\n\nEvaluate and process information received from all available sources and respond with appropriate communication and dispatch procedures.\n\nCommunicate security issues or emergencies by escalating information to department leadership, local law enforcement, emergency services, such as EMT, fire departments, etc.\n\nParticipates regularly in security/safety training programs to stay current on critical GSOC responsibilities and competencies inclusive of drills and tabletop exercises.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nExcellent writing, communication, and critical thinking skills.\n\nQuick learner with strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.\n\nOrganized and comfortable in fast-paced environments.\n\nEffective team player who can also work independently.\n\nStrong customer service skills.\n\nBasic IT literacy.\n\nPreferred experience in Security Operations and familiarity with incident management platforms.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications (preferred).\n\nFamiliarity with access control and CCTV systems (preferred).\n\nExperience with security tools such as Lenel and Genetec (preferred).\n\nInterview Process\nTimed written assessment (arranged at the time that suits you) to test writing and analytical capability \nPanel interview with some of the team members and hiring managers at Sibylline\n\nResearch indicates that certain groups are less likely to apply for a position unless they meet every single requirement. The position works in an on-site office environment utilizing a computer and standard office equipment.
