The position contributes directly to the integrity, compliance, and effectiveness of the petroleum marking system.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Laboratory Operations & Testing\nReceive, log, and properly identify QA/QC fuel samples.\nApply approved sampling and testing procedures in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).\nVerify environmental conditions required for accurate laboratory testing.\nPerform analytical testing related to the fuel marking program.\nEnsure proper handling and controlled storage of QA/QC samples.\nRecord and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.\n2. Quality Control & Instrument Management\nConduct routine checks to ensure analytical instruments are functioning properly.\nPerform preventive maintenance of laboratory instruments in accordance with internal guidelines.\nIdentify and report any equipment malfunction or deviation.\nMaintain accurate records of testing activities and instrument status.\nReport fuel marker inventory data as required.\n3. Laboratory Maintenance & Compliance\nEnsure daily cleaning and proper maintenance of laboratory facilities and equipment.\nMaintain laboratory organization and compliance with safety standards.\nEnsure strict adherence to SICPA Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.\nFollow all internal controls and documentation procedures to ensure traceability and audit readiness.\nReporting & Continuous Improvement\nPrepare laboratory reports and submit results to the relevant operational or management teams.\nImmediately report irregular findings, deviations, or non-conformities.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes and internal procedures.\nPROFILE\nSecondary school diploma or technical diploma in chemistry, laboratory sciences, or a related field.\n2-3 years of professional experience in a laboratory or industrial environment.\nExperience in the chemical, petroleum, or Oil & Gas sector is an advantage.\nBasic understanding of analytical testing methods and laboratory equipment.\nBasic mathematical skills for calculations and data recording.\nFluent in Azerbaijani;
