Duties include oversight of the implementation of quality, comprehensive, individualized, strengths-based, and culturally competent treatment in the community and school in keeping with the agency philosophy. The Clinical Supervisor will also provide coverage as needed when one of their supervisees is out. Duties will include attending Leadership forum, North Bay Clinical leadership meetings, Line of Sight meetings, county level meetings and other pertinent meetings related to the role.\nPROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS\nCommunity Counseling\nFrom short term, intensive crisis intervention to longer term case management and family support, Community Counseling clinical services are individualized and include home, office, and community-based support. Informed by a holistic understanding of the young person’s history and strengths, Community Counseling supports the development of coping skills and strategies to help the family function more effectively and the young person attain stability and a sense of personal agency.\nOur Space\nOur Space is a vibrant safe space for LGBTQIA+ youth ages 13-24 in Alameda County. For many young people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and/or questioning, it can feel like no place is safe. LGBTQIA+ young people experience significantly higher rates of harassment and abuse - as well as poverty, homelessness, and involvement in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems - than their straight peers. Our Space provides that much-needed safe harbor where LGBTQIA+ youth can express their authentic selves and feel seen, accepted, and celebrated.\nReal Alternatives\nReal Alternatives offers a continuum of transitional housing opportunities for current and former foster youth and/or those on probation ages 18 to 24.
