Bookings may range from a few weeks to several months and, during active bookings, may involve working up to 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.\nWorking closely with the Post-Production Manager and Head of Post-Production, you will help support the successful delivery of high-quality audio post-production services across a range of projects.\nThe role combines hands-on post-production expertise with technical guidance, quality oversight, mentoring and day-to-day project support. You will act as a senior technical point of support within the team, helping colleagues resolve complex challenges, maintain quality standards and continue developing their skills and confidence.\nYou will also conduct regular development-focused 1:1s with allocated team members, providing an approachable environment in which they can discuss development, workload, project experience and any support they may need.\nThis is not a formal people-management position. Formal performance, conduct, wellbeing, absence and employee-relations matters remain the responsibility of the Post-Production Manager.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nTechnical & Quality Support\nAct as a senior technical point of support for the Post-Production team.\nProvide guidance on complex dialogue editing, audio QA, mastering and technical challenges.\nCarry out quality reviews and spot-checks to support consistent delivery standards.\nHelp colleagues understand and apply client technical specifications and internal quality standards.\nShare technical knowledge, best practice and lessons learned across the team.\nIdentify recurring technical or quality issues and raise these with the Post-Production Manager.\nSupport the development and improvement of technical workflows, documentation and working practices.\nMaintain hands-on involvement in post-production activity where required.\nMentoring & Team Development\nMentor and support team members in developing their technical skills, knowledge and confidence.\nConduct regular development and support-focused 1:1s with allocated team members.\nProvide constructive feedback based on project work and quality reviews.\nSupport the onboarding and technical training of new team members.\nEncourage knowledge sharing and collaboration across the Post-Production team.\nIdentify potential development or training needs and discuss these with the Post-Production Manager.\nAct as an approachable first point of support where team members require guidance.\nEscalate formal performance, conduct, wellbeing, absence or employee-relations concerns to the Post-Production Manager.\nProject & Operational Support\nSupport the Post-Production Manager with the day-to-day coordination of post-production activity.\nHelp communicate project priorities and deadlines to the team.\nSupport colleagues in resolving project or technical challenges.\nIdentify potential delivery risks, bottlenecks or quality concerns and escalate these appropriately.\nFacilitate project or technical meetings when required.\nSupport project documentation, archiving and other agreed operational activities.\nWork collaboratively with Production and other teams to support effective project delivery.\nProvide additional support during periods of increased workload or complex delivery.\nClient & Stakeholder Support\nProvide technical input into client and stakeholder discussions when required.\nSupport Production and the Post-Production Manager in understanding and resolving technical requirements.\nHelp ensure client feedback is understood and incorporated into future work.\nEscalate significant client, quality or delivery concerns to the Post-Production Manager.\nRepresent the Post-Production team professionally in project discussions.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nKnowledge & Technical Skills\nStrong understanding of audio post-production workflows within a commercial production or services environment.\nExcellent knowledge of dialogue editing, audio QA and mastering standards, including the technical requirements associated with client deliverables.\nStrong working knowledge of digital audio workstations and post-production tools, including Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Reaper and iZotope RX.\nGood understanding of video game localisation and multilingual dialogue workflows, particularly across high-volume projects.\nUnderstanding of post-production pipelines, including asset management, version control, file management, archiving and delivery processes.\nGood understanding of quality-control processes and how to identify and resolve recurring technical or delivery issues.\nExperience\n4+ years’ experience within a commercial audio post-production environment, ideally within video games, localisation, voice production or another relevant creative-services environment.\nDemonstrable hands-on experience delivering dialogue editing, QA and/or mastering to professional client standards.\nExperience working across multiple concurrent projects, preferably involving high-volume or multilingual content.\nPrevious experience acting as a senior or experienced member of a technical team, providing guidance and support to colleagues.\nExperience mentoring, coaching or training colleagues and supporting their professional or technical development.\nExperience identifying technical or quality issues and supporting their resolution or escalation.\nPrevious experience within video game localisation, dialogue production or an outsourced games-services environment would be highly desirable.\nWhat Will Help You Succeed\nCollaborative -
