Catch Aimie in motion: Aimie Video\nRequirements\nWhat you will do:\nHelp shape how Sidetrade protects its business, its customers and the AI-powered software they rely on. As Senior Manager, Cyber Security, reporting to our CISO, you will develop and execute our operational security strategy, lead security improvements across the business and build the capabilities needed to respond confidently to evolving threats.\nWorking closely with Engineering, Platform and IT, you will influence architecture and development decisions, strengthen detection and response, and translate security risks into clear business priorities. You will join our international R&D team, which brings together engineering, data and AI expertise to build software for business-critical financial processes, where security is central to the trust our customers place in us.\nYou will lead the operational security roadmap and work with the owners of our products, infrastructure and corporate systems to deliver it. Alongside the colleagues responsible for governance and compliance, you will turn security requirements into practical controls and evidence of their effectiveness. In this role you will:\nSecurity strategy and risk: prioritise the risks that matter most, agree a practical improvement roadmap and communicate progress and investment needs to senior leaders.\nSecurity operations and response: develop the team and SOC capability, strengthen detection and investigation, and coordinate incident response and lessons learned.\nProduct and platform security: embed security into architecture and the development lifecycle, partnering with engineering teams on threat assessment, testing and remediation.\nAssurance and improvement: oversee vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, manage security suppliers, and use meaningful measures to improve control effectiveness.\nSecurity as our AI capabilities evolve: work with our engineering and AI teams to assess emerging risks and establish practical safeguards for AI-enabled products, including protecting sensitive data, controlling access and permissions, and ensuring appropriate monitoring and oversight.\nWhat you will bring:\nSignificant experience in operational cyber security, including leading people or major security programmes and delivering measurable improvements.\nPractical experience of incident response, vulnerability management and security monitoring, with the judgement to prioritise under pressure.\nStrong understanding of cloud and infrastructure security, identity and access controls, and secure software development.\nThe ability to work constructively with engineers and business leaders, explain risk clearly and make proportionate decisions.\nExperience turning security strategy into a deliverable roadmap, coordinating stakeholders and managing security suppliers.\nCuriosity and sound security judgement about AI-enabled products. Deep AI specialism is a useful addition rather than a prerequisite.\nFluent English and confidence working with international teams.
