This role is a hands-on leader who can guide a team while also contributing directly to the codebase.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nArchitect, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using .NET, TypeScript,\nReact/Next.js on Azure.\nLead technical decision-making, providing expertise on best practices, architecture, and\nmodern software development methodologies.\nConduct code reviews, ensuring high code quality, security, and performance\noptimization.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to\ndefine, design, and ship new features.\nMentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of growth and\ntechnical excellence.\nMonitor and improve application performance, optimizing database queries, front-end\nrendering, and API interactions.\nEnsure security best practices in web applications, including authentication,\nauthorization, and data protection.\nWork with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments on\nAzure.\nStay up to date with emerging technologies and advocate for their adoption where\nappropriate.\nEducation and/or Experience:\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or\nequivalent experience).\nA minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack software development.\nExpertise in React, .NET, Next.js, TypeScript, and Azure.\nStrong experience in code reviews, software design patterns, and scalable application\narchitecture.\nProficiency in RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.\nHands-on experience with databases, such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL\nsolutions.\nExperience with version control systems (Git) and Agile development methodologies.\nPreferred:\nExperience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Apps) on Azure.\nKnowledge of serverless computing and cloud-native applications.\nFamiliarity with unit testing frameworks and automated testing best practices.\nCertifications in Azure or relevant technologies.\nOther Skills and Abilities:\nThe following will also be required of the successful candidate:\nStrong organizational skills\nStrong attention to detail\nGood judgment\nStrong interpersonal communication skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nAble to work harmoniously and effectively with others\nAble to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretion\nAble to work under pressure\nAble to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities\n#LI-Hybrid\nApplicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future\nThe target salary range for this role is:\n$117,300 - $184,300 if located in Illinois, New York, or Texas.Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate.
