Join us at Sidus Space to be part of something extraordinary and help shape the future of space access!\nJob Summary\nThe Buyer is responsible for establishing and maintaining the tracking of orders and deliveries, quality problems, returns, payments & other procurement duties that may affect the completion of an operation.\nThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Cape Canaveral, Florida.\nEssential Duties/Responsibilities\nSelect suppliers and prepare purchase orders for flight orders, goods, and services.\nManage supplier relationships including supplier on-time delivery and quality performance. \nRequest and analyze quotes from suppliers. \nDetermine fair and reasonable pricing to ensure the best value for the company. \nSupport return of hardware/goods as needed. \nFacilitate payment of invoices.\nNegotiate terms and conditions for purchase orders.\nDevelop reports, as required, to monitor Key Performance Indicators for supplier performance.\nMonitor own procurement KPI metrics, including PR to PO placement.\nNegotiate terms and conditions for purchase orders.\nAdhere to all Quality Management Systems standards and procedures.\nTreat all coworkers with respect and dignity ensuring a collaborative culture is continually developed and maintained.\nOther duties as assigned**\nRequired Education and Experience\nFive (5+) years’ experience in supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, business administration, or other relevant industry experience.\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or another relevant field preferred. Experience in lieu of education may be considered.\nExperienced with SAP or other relevant ERP systems.\nExperienced in establishing processes and developing continuous improvement measures. \nUnderstands principles of FAR/DFARS compliance. \nProficiency in Microsoft 365 including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nCommitment to providing the highest quality products and services that meet or exceed the requirements and expectations of our customer, actively pursuing opportunities for continual improvements of service quality.\nProficiency in data analytics and compiling insights on business intelligence, financial information, and/or order verification. \nKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and professional services.
