The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Cape Canaveral, Florida.\nEssential Duties/Responsibilities\nAnalyze defect data and implement data driven corrective actions\nDrive continued improvement of the quality system and manufacturing processes\nDocument, update and present corrective actions and process improvements to internal and external audiences\nReview, interpret, and ensure compliance to company policies and procedures, engineering drawings, customer contract requirements, and product test procedures\nLead containment efforts of non-conforming material\nInterface within the quality team and across the various functions\nCommunicate directly with customers and suppliers\nReview, revise and improve manufacturing work instructions/routers resulting in measurable impact\nInitiate and review engineering design changes\nProvide return to print engineering dispositions for non-conforming product\nCoordinate dispositions for non-conforming product\nSupport in the preparation for and execution of external and internal audits\nTreat all coworkers with respect and dignity ensuring a collaborative culture is continually developed and maintained.\nOther duties as assigned**\nRequired Education and Experience\nRequires practical knowledge of electronics manufacturing (cable, assembly, test)\nBachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years of prior related experience \nGraduate Degree or equivalent with 2 years of prior related experience\nIn lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.\nDesired Skills and Experience\nAdvanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) practical experience\nExperience with IPC-620, J-STD-001, Space Addendum, NASA-STD-8739.4\nLean/Six Sigma training (preference is certified green/black belt)\nUnderstanding of IS09001/AS9100 and related QMS standards\nExperience using RCCA tools such as FMEA, Pareto, 5 Why, 8D, and Fishbone\nUnderstanding of Windows environment including standard Microsoft Office tools is required\nPhysical Requirements\nSedentary Work - occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds of force to carry, lift, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
