Join us at Sidus Space to be part of something extraordinary and help shape the future of space access!\nJob Summary\nThe Senior PCB Design Electrical Engineer will design and develop high-reliability circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and integrated electronic systems for spaceflight and other mission-critical applications.\nThe position is 100% onsite, located in Cape Canaveral, Florida.\nEssential Duties/Responsibilities\nOwn schematic capture, PCB layout, and documentation for complex, high-reliability CCAs used in spacecraft and mission-critical systems.\nDevelop subsystem architecture, electrical interfaces, and design solutions for new and existing hardware.\nLead the design, development, and testing of IRAD/CRAD projects and support transition to manufacturing.\nGenerate and review engineering documentation including requirements, specifications, ICDs, analyses, and test plans.\nSupport integration, test, and verification of CCAs, electrical assemblies, and related subsystems.\nCollaborate with systems, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and program teams to deliver complete engineering design packages.\nDevelop and maintain power budgets, V&V plans, and electrical test plans.\nParticipate in system-level testing, troubleshoot issues and review test results.\nPresent technical findings to peers, leadership, and customers as needed.\nTreat all coworkers with respect and dignity ensuring a collaborative culture is continually developed and maintained.\nOther duties as assigned**\nRequired Education and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) and 5+ years of relevant experience.\nSignificant hands-on experience with PCB design including schematic capture, layout, verification, and manufacturing support.\nHigh proficiency with Altium Designer (or similar PCB design tools).\nStrong foundation in power electronics, high-speed digital design, and familiarity with RF circuits.\nSolid understanding of requirements definition, interface development, verification, and documentation.\nProficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).\nDesired Skills and Experience\nFamiliarity with spacecraft electrical systems, subsystem interfaces, or space hardware integration.\nUnderstanding of EMI/EMC, reliability, contamination control, and space environmental effects.\nExperience with acceptance, qualification, and environmental testing for high-reliability or space-grade hardware.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills. \nExperience serving as a lead engineer or principal investigator on hardware development projects.\nExperience mentoring junior engineers or providing technical guidance.\nPhysical Requirements\nSedentary Work - occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds of force to carry, lift, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
