This is an ideal opportunity for someone who loves hands-on manufacturing, understands the full lifecycle of a machined part, and thrives in collaborative, agile environments.\nYou’ll make a difference by:\nContributing to the definition of new NX CAM capabilities informed by customer needs, market trends, and machining workflows.\nValidating software using realistic manufacturing workflows, practical use cases, and on-machine testing.\nEngaging with customers and partners to evaluate software, demonstrate new functionality, and gather actionable feedback.\nPromoting product quality through thoughtful validation, timely feedback, and a continuous improvement mindset.\nActing as a trusted connection point between customers, product management, and development teams.\nCommunicating clearly and proactively to align expectations, share insights, and strengthen collaboration.\nSharing machining expertise to strengthen team knowledge and support effective, self-organized collaboration.\nTaking ownership, anticipating needs, and helping to drive progress in a lean-agile product development environment.\nCollaborating with Product Owners and Product Management to refine requirements, create customer-focused acceptance criteria and test parts, and support feature readiness.\nServing as one of the ambassadors of NX CAM by creating customer-facing enablement materials, including feature videos, screen captures, on-machine test recordings, and tech tips, for the broader manufacturing community, including platforms such as LinkedIn.\nResearching manufacturing workflows, competitive solutions, benchmarking results, machining scenarios, and customer challenges to inform future product improvements.\nYour success is grounded in:\nProven CNC programming experience using NX CAM.\nExpert-level knowledge of G-code for controls such as Sinumerik, Heidenhain, Fanuc, and Okuma.\nAbility to program a part, put it on a machine, and cut or build it.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills in English.\nSignificant hands-on machining experience, including requirements definition and validation of pre-release software on machines.\nWillingness to travel occasionally for customer and partner meetings, trade shows, and product team engagements, including domestic or international travel as permitted.\nGreat if you have:\nExperience in mold and die, aerospace, or other precision component manufacturing\nExperience with other CAM systems in addition to NX CAM\nExperience with CAM post processors and CNC simulation software\nExperience with Robotics\nStrong CAD skills\nExperience working in Teamcenter or other managed environments\nExperience working in an Agile or Lean development environment\nJoin our Digital World:\nAt Siemens Software, flexibility is how we work - hybrid by default, built on trust and autonomy.
