As an FPGA Prototyping Applications Engineer, you will support our Israel sales team out of the Israel office. You will contribute to our success by assisting in the sales and deployment of Siemens FPGA Prototyping verification products, while increasing customer satisfaction and productivity.\nKey Responsibilities\nDrive business for Siemens EDA using hands-on technical expertise, working directly with customers as part of the sales team by identifying and qualifying technical engagements, defining evaluation and benchmark criteria, and executing technical campaigns to ensure technical milestones are met\nDeploy Siemens EDA prototyping software and hardware solutions at customer sites\nPromote technical customer service to build and strengthen customer relationships, ensuring long-term customer happiness and becoming the go-to expert for all customer inquiries and support\nCollaborate with area sales management, account teams, and customers to identify business opportunities and technical requirements\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical obstacles; develop and deliver technical presentations on new features and product updates\nProvide in-depth technical feedback and product ideas to our prototyping product development teams to improve overall product performance\nCommunicate customers' technical requirements to product marketing\nBuild a network of peer-level technical relationships with customers\nWork collaboratively with team members to ensure mutual success\nQualifications\nExperience in a design engineering role focusing on functional verification, including emulation/prototyping and simulation, or recent experience as an Application Engineer in a relevant field\nBS or MS or equivalent experience in EE, CE, CS or related areas\nUnderstanding of computer architecture, including industry-standard interfaces, memory subsystems, SoC design, and verification methodologies\nExperience with SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL, UVM, SystemC, and/or C/C++ for RTL design and SoC-level verification\nExperience with ASIC and/or FPGA implementation (synthesis, static timing analysis, place & route), multi-FPGA bring-up, multiple clock domains, asynchronous interfaces, and industry FPGA tools (Xilinx Vivado, Altera Quartus)\nProficient in scripting (Perl, Python, Makefile) on UNIX/Linux platforms; fluent English (written and oral); proactive team player willing to learn new technologies and methodologies; experienced working with customers and cross-functional teams\nWhy Us\nWe are Siemens: At Siemens Software, flexibility is how we work-hybrid by default, built on trust and autonomy.
