The Associate Energy Engineer willconduct facility site visits, analyzes the customer’s current situation, and produces plans for Facility Improvement Measures (FIMs). This position also assists sales and operations in the development, procurement, and execution of performance contracts. Our aim isn’t just about improving buildings; it’s about creating perfect places that improve people’s lives.\n\nAs an Associate Energy Engineer, you will:\n Perform preliminary facility audits to identifyFacility Improvement Measures (FIMs) and opportunities.\n Coordinate and participatein facility site visits and communicate with outside vendors as it pertains to FIMs.\nAssistsales in the identification and qualification of potential performance contracting projects.\nDevelop preliminary performance contracting proposals. Analyze blueprints and perform site surveys to identifymechanical, electrical, and controlssystems to determinefacilityoperational characteristics.\nApply building energy simulation programs to develop energy, cooling, and heating load-building models using modeling software.\nDevelop design concepts concerning recommended FIMs, including descriptions, savings potential, cost estimates, and data to verify FIMs.\nPrepare financial models related to repayment, including Return on Investment (ROI), life cycle costs, and internal rate of return.\nEvaluate energy supply-side savings opportunities, trash management, co-generation, and water conservation strategies for inclusion in performance contracts. \nAssistin creating performance assurance plans and performance contracts. \n Monitor project performance, particularly those that guarantee savings.\n\nYou will make in impact with these qualifications:\n Basic Qualifications:\nMust be able to demonstrateknowledge of energy demand-side savings, and ability to evaluate savings potential\nKnowledge of Mechanical HVAC systems and/or design\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field \n Experience with Microsoft Office\nMust be 21 years of age and possessa valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participatein Siemens' fleet vehicle program\nVerbal and written communication skills in English\n Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship\n Preferred Qualifications:\n Energy Manager or Engineer in training certification \n 1+ Year of experience in the Energy industry supporting performance-based projects or energy services\n #LI-TAG #Northeast-EREF #VeteranCareers #TransitioningServiceMember #MilitarySpouse\n Ready to create your own journey?
