Your work ensures trains move safely and automatically, preventing collisions using the latest failsafe technologies like ERTMS and CBTC.\nYou’ll make a difference by\nActing as the technical expert for ATC sub-system functional behavior, engineering rules, and data preparation tools.\nEngineering the ATC-specific configuration based on precise project requirements and maintaining the software within budget and milestones.\nSupporting testing, verification, and safety teams with software configuration issues and detailed log analysis.\nDriving all phases of the ATC application engineering cycle, from requirements specification to implementation and commissioning.\nPreparing comprehensive technical documentation in alignment with project requirements and applicable regulations.\nYour success is grounded in\nA Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience in the Rail Signaling business, specifically with ATC technologies for Mass Transit (CBTC) or Main Line (ERTMS).\nAdvanced capabilities in data analysis using Microsoft Excel, including the creation of VBA macros.\nStrong knowledge of CENELEC standards and V-model life cycle processes.\nFluency in English to collaborate effectively across distributed international teams.\nYou’ll thrive even more if you also bring\nKnowledge of SUBSET 026, 039, and 040, or experience with mixed ERTMS L1 and L2 systems.\nExperience in trackside ATC data preparation and basic knowledge of interlocking systems.\nProgramming skills in Python (or similar) and familiarity with configuration management tools like Subversion or PVCS.\nFluency in Spanish to seamlessly interact with local stakeholders.\nEven if you don't meet every single requirement, we encourage you to apply!
